- 1 double cheeseburger
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 steak

Cut the double cheeseburger in half and blend with softened butter in a food processor until smooth. Scoop the compound butter onto parchment or plastic wrap and roll it into a log shape.

Refrigerate the compound butter for at least 1 hour or until firm.

Pan-sear your steak and use the
ThermoPro Lightning Instant-Read Thermometer
to check that the internal temperature reaches around 130°F (54°C). Let the steak rest for 10 minutes.

Slice the compound butter into rounds and place on top of the hot steak just before serving.
