Works great.

I love this thermometer because of how easy it is to use. Once you dislodge the probe from its cradle, it is ready to use. The thermometer reports the temp quickly and perfectly. There are calibration instruction, but they seam finicky. I have no regrets. I was lucky to catch it on sale.

So quick and easy to use. Just remember to close between uses to save battery.

I wanted a thermometer that gives me a reading as close to "instant" as possible. This does it. The temp reading is also highly visible.No "cons" that I can think of.

This is the best thing I got for my BBQ. Now all the meats are nice and moist. The reading is immediate and accurate.

Quick and accurate

The thermometer function works great... reads quickly and seems to read accurately. But the magnet is terrible. It won't stick to any metal surface. Holds slightly but just slides down until it runs out of metal. My other thermometers hold perfectly, this one just doesnt hold well at all.

This thing is really nice. Much better then the cheap one I used to have. I like how if you set it down, it will turn back on as soon as you pick it up again. It seems to be very well made.

Wish I'd bought one of these decades ago (if they existed then). Quick, accurate read. Just the ticket for getting temperatures in different parts of the meat, without leaving a large hole leaking juice when you remove it. I absolutely recomment.
