    I have several thermometers from this manufacturer, and for the money, there’s a lot of value here especially compared to the competition. I’m very much into smoking meats, and these wireless thermometers have really come into their own. My only criticism is the thickness of the probe. Pulling out of your food only to have it leave a sizable hole isn’t exactly aesthetically pleasing. Otherwise, app integration is great as well as the charging base station. If you catch this in the future with a clickable coupon, I’d say it’s just about a no brainer.

    My fault for not reading the details more carefully, but this device is NOT Wi-Fi. The range is poor — won’t travel 30′ into my house, making it pretty much worthless for remote monitoring. I definitely regret this purchase.ps — And now I realize that the probes are wildly inaccurate. Both inside the same vertical pellet smoker, but show 30 degrees difference in ambient temperature. I would have kept it and put up with the range problem, but now I realize it is altogether worthless.
