These probes measure your food temp very accurately. I have tested them against different thermometers from freezing water to 200 degrees F and they are accurate to 1 degree. The wireless is a bonus with less clutter in your cook space while turning or rearranging your food. I love them and I am very pleased with them so far.
I find the Thermopro thermometers to be a great aid in the cooking of meat. The range is awesome and functionality is just what is needed. The ambient air temp part is not that accurate I think because its so close to the meat. But the meat temp part is perfect. I had one fail and contacted Thermopro's customer service be email and I had a new one in 4 days.
I bought one of these for one of my Son's after reading the reviews and seeing his previous remote thermometer had given up the ghost. Lucky me, my wife purchased one for me as a surprise! This thing is EXCELLENT! Two probes (each with ambient temp reading), great range, super useful ap, accuracy, long battery life...just fantastic! Great in oven or smoker. Indispensable for prime rib, brisket, and reverse sear cooking of steaks and burgers. Perfect results every time. Well worth the $$.Like it so much, I bought another one for another of my Son's upcoming birthday!
