I use this for frying and grilling it is very accurate to help predict the quality of a reverse seared steak or a juicy deep fried turkey. Very easy to pair to a Bluetooth android phone. Alarms are very persistent where the limits are individually set and named. I like the historical graphs the app produces. The corded probes are a little to get used to but they are durable and keep working. Overall I like using this to get the best idea where the meat temperature is on a real time demand basis. Four input options are plenty to keep an accurate idea of what external and internal factors are involved to creating a snack or an entree in real time. Enjoyable product.
I like it because its very easy to use and the ThermoPros digital display has large numbers for us with less than perfect vision and also the alarm is fantastic letting you know when youve reached ideal internal temperature with what you have on your pit!
Probes look sturdy and hopefully easy to clean, the device is USB C rechargeable, QR code link to appstore with simple setup. Can see a long life for this.
Got this for my Klose BBQ backyard smoker pit. This is a dream to work with. It pairs easily with my iPhone and does a great job monitoring food and ambient temps and time! This is THE best unit to get quality BBQ results!!!
I am a newbie to using my Electric Smoker. I needed to smoke a 9 lb brisket. and I didn't want to keep opening the smoker door to temp the brisket. This Bluetooth Meat Thermomter is a Game changer. I am 58 yrs old, and not savvy with stuff Like this. Turn your camera on, thats on your phone. there is a QR code in the direction. Just hover that QR code, it will take you to the play store. Install the app. just follow the directions. This meat thermometer has 2 probes, so you keep an eye on 2 different meats. you can set alarms, and watch it from the inside your home. Lots of Temp settings. I could not believe how I was able to figure this out by myself... The box it comes in is very nice. makes for easy storing. Just get this, you will thank me later Lyndsey.
