  • 4 Chicken breasts
  • 150g Garlic & herb cream cheese
  • 16 Bacon rashers
  • Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli flakes
  • Toothpicks

HOW TO MAKE BAKED CHICKEN BREASTS WITH GARLIC CREAM CHEESE & BACON

  • Step 1. Preheat the oven to 200C

  • Step 2. Divide the cream cheese into 4, then roll each quarter into a small log and wrap in plastic wrap, about 1cm in diameter and 10cm long, then place in the freezer for at least 20 minutes

  • Step 3. Using a sharp paring knife, cut a small pocket in the thickest part of the chicken breast and slide the frozen cream cheese log into the pocket

  • Step 4. Rub with a drizzle of olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and chilli flakes.

  • Step 5. Place in an ovenproof baking dish and bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until the ThermoPro thermometer shows a reading of 75C

  • Step 6: Remove from the oven and allow to rest for a couple of minutes. Serve with crispy potato wedges and a green salad.
