Grilled Mediterranean Chicken Burger
- 1.5 lbs. Ground Chicken
- 3 cups Grated Japanese Sweet Potato
- ½ cup minced Red Bell Pepper
- ½ tsp. Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp. Onion Powder
- ¾ tsp. Salt
- ¼ tsp. Black Pepper
- 2.5 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp. Chopped Dill
- 2 Tbsp. Chopped Parsley
- Crumbled Feta
- Minced Red Bell Pepper (or chopped tomato)
- Chopped Parsley and Dill
How to Make Mediterranean Chicken Burgers
Step 1. Preheat your grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grates. In a bowl, combine all of the burger ingredients in a bowl.
Step 2. Form 8-10 patties. You can separate stacks of patties using a sheet of parchment paper.
Step 3. Lay the burgers on a grill (do this in batches, if you need). Allow them to sear for 4 minutes on side, then set your ThermoPro thermometer to the “ground poultry” setting or 165 degrees.
Step 4. Place the probe in the thickest part of one of the burgers and cover the grill. Grill until they reach the goal temperature. If needed, you can flip the burgers once more while cooking and simply reposition the probe after flipping.
Step 5. Top the burgers with chopped bell pepper, feta cheese, dill and parsley. Serve over a salad or on your favorite bun.
