- 1 cup water
- ½ cup dark brown sugar
- ½ cup pumpkin puree
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 6 whole cloves
- 4 whole all-spice berries (optional)
- 5 pieces fresh ginger (1 inch each)
- 2 oz rum, light or aged
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

HOW TO MAKE Homemade Pumpkin Liqueur
Heat water and brown sugar in a pan. Add cinnamon, cloves, ginger and pumpkin. Using a ThermoPro TP19H, remove from heat once the temperature has reached 173°F (78°C). Cover with a lid and let it rest.
In an ice cube-chilled glass, add rum and vanilla.
Once the brown sugar mixture has cooled, add to glass. Serve and enjoy.
