Congratulations go out to Hot Daddy’s BBQ, winner of the 36th Invitational Grand Champion at the 2024 American Royal World Series of BBQ! The Minnesota-based competitive BBQ team placed first among 169 former champs at the 4-day BBQ competition that attracted some 35,000 attendees.

Hot Daddy’’s BBQ further demonstrated its dominance over the competition at the Kansas City-based event by placing first in the Pork Ribs category.

The awards cap off a stellar year for Hot Daddy’s BBQ. The team had placed second overall at Talking Wings/Minnesota Masters BBQ during the summer when it was leading in the results for Masters Team of the Year.

The Invitation Grand Champion is awarded $12,000 in prize money, a personalized cooler, and a stunning first-place trophy. As is the event’s tradition, leader Kyle Kuhn celebrated his win by wearing a crown and robe while sitting on a throne.
