Recipe Preparation
- 1 lb ground beef
- 5 slices bacon
- ⅓ cup chopped parsley
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 4 oz cheddar cheese (chunk, chopped, or shredded)
- 4 hamburger buns
- Butter lettuce
- Sliced tomato
- Ketchup, mustard, etc.
- 3 russet potatoes, cut into fries
- 1.5 tbsp oil of choice
- Salt
Step Description
1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lay the bacon on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes or until just shy of your desired crispiness. Let it cool, then roughly chop.
2
While the bacon cooks, peel and cut the russet potatoes into thin fries. Let them sit out for 10–15 minutes. Toss with oil and salt, then spread in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
3
Bake the fries for 30–40 minutes, flipping once halfway through. Remove and let cool slightly.
4
In a bowl, combine ground beef, chopped bacon, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
5
Divide the burger mixture into 4 equal portions. Flatten each and place a piece of cheddar cheese in the center. For a gooier center, use chopped or shredded cheddar.
6
Form the meat around the cheese, sealing the edges so it’s fully enclosed.
7
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the patties for 2 minutes per side to sear.
8
Set your

to the ground beef setting and insert the probe into the center of the thickest patty. Close the grill and reduce the heat to medium.
9
Continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
10
Assemble your burgers with buns, lettuce, tomato, and your favorite condiments. Serve alongside the homemade fries and enjoy!
