Homemade Mayo Ingredients:
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- A small pinch of salt
- A tiny squeeze of lemon
- 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 1/4 cups of neutral oil
Homemade Ranch Ingredients:
- 1/2 tbsp chives
- 1/2 tbsp dill
- 1/2 tbsp parsley
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tbsp onion powder
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- salt
- pepper
- 1/2 cup of buttermilk

Begin by cooking all the elements of the sandwich including the steak, bacon, and red peppers. Grill your ribeye steak to perfection by using a ThermoPro Lightning One-Second Instant-Read Thermometer. Use the Lightning to check that your steak has reached the optimal temperature for your level of doneness (120°F/49°C for rare).

To make the homemade mayo, whisk its ingredients together in a jar or cup. Use an immersion blender to combine, or whisk together in a bowl and add the oil a little at a time while continuously whisking. Continue blending or whisking until you have mayo.

To make the homemade ranch, finely chop 1/2 tbsp each of chives, dill, and parsley. In a separate bowl, whisk the chopped herbs together with a cup of homemade mayo (prepared in the previous step), garlic powder, onion powder, and lemon juice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Finally, whisk in half a cup of buttermilk. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
