Works great easy set up
We use this in our travel trailer to see what the temperature is in and outside of the trailer. It is really easy to setup and we like the large numbers and are very satisfied with it.
This little wireless outdoor temperature and humidity monitor is surprisingly accurate on both measurements. A nice improvement over my previous device!
I purchased the ThermPro indoor/outdoor thermometer to replace my old AccuRite thermometer. My old thermometer was showing an incorrect temperature outdoors (around 130 degrees F, which clearly was wrong).I wasn't sure how to just replace the outdoor sensor as this model is easily 5-8 years old. Surprisingly enough the ThermPro sensor works with the AccuRite as well! I was very pleased because with only one outdoor sensor I can now have two indoor thermometers working. As you can see the temperatures are slightly different. Regarding accuracy I'd have to believe that the ThermPro is more accurate as it matches the indoor temperature of my Honeywell thermostat. I cannot rate the item for longevity or weatherproofing as I have only just received it. However I am extremely pleased thus far. In addition, it has a switch in the battery compartment so that you can pair it with multiple outdoor sensors (up to 3). So for example if you would like a different sensor in a greenhouse, or in different locations in your yard, the thermometer will know which sensor to pair with. I do not need this function, however it is a nice feature to have in case you do need it. Additionally, this thermostat also shows the humidity which my AccuRite thermometer does not. Update a year later, I love this item so much I purchased a second one. My old one is also still working just like new even after the sensor has been out in the elements! Stands the test of time!
So far, so good. I really like the size of the unit. It fits perfectly on my window sill above my sink where I can easily see it. The display is clear and very easy to read. I would definitely recommend it to others.
