Baked Chicken Breasts with Garlic Cream Cheese & Bacon

  • 4 Chicken breasts
  • 150g Garlic & herb cream cheese
  • 16 Bacon rashers
  • Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli flakes
  • Toothpicks

Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).

Divide the cream cheese into four equal parts. Roll each portion into a small log, approximately 1cm in diameter and 10cm long. Wrap in plastic and freeze for at least 20 minutes.

Use a sharp paring knife to cut a pocket into the thickest part of each chicken breast. Insert a frozen cream cheese log into each pocket.

Rub the chicken with a drizzle of olive oil and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chilli flakes.

Place the stuffed chicken breasts into an ovenproof baking dish. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (167°F) using your TP03H Instant-Read Meat Thermometer .

Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Serve with crispy potato wedges and a green salad.
