Key Tool
Step Description
1
Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C).
2
In a bowl, mix together avocado oil, paprika, onion powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, cayenne, and grated garlic. Toss the chicken wings in the mixture until evenly coated.
3
Place wings on a sheet pan fitted with a rack. Line the bottom with foil for easier cleanup. Roast for 15–20 minutes.
4
After roasting, check internal temp with your
ThermoPro TP19 thermometer
— it should be around 155–160°F.
5
While the wings roast, combine avocado oil, coconut aminos or soy sauce, honey, rice wine vinegar, and red pepper flakes in a bowl to make the sauce.
6
Toss roasted wings in the honey garlic sauce until coated thoroughly.
7
Increase oven temperature to 450°F (232°C). Once it reaches temperature, return the wings to the oven for another 5–10 minutes or until golden and slightly crispy.
8
Use your ThermoPro thermometer to ensure wings reach at least 165°F (74°C).
9
Top with chopped chives and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve and enjoy!
