Recipe Preparation
  • 3 lbs chuck steak
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 3 tbsp canned diced tomatoes
  • 1 whole head of garlic
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
Recipe Instructions

Marinate the chuck steak with BBQ sauce and taco seasoning. Insert the TempSpike Plus probe into the center of the steak and set the target temperature alarm to 170°F (77°C).

Place the steak in the smoker. When the internal temperature reaches 170°F (77°C), transfer it to a foil pan or baking tray. Add beef broth, diced tomatoes, and garlic cloves. Cover tightly with foil and return it to the smoker, cooking until the beef becomes tender and falls apart easily.

Shred the beef and place it inside tortillas. Pan-fry until the tortillas turn crispy and golden.
