STEP 1:
Start by cutting the double cheeseburger in half and combine with softened butter in a food processer and blend until smooth. Scoop the cheeseburger compound butter onto a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap and roll it into a log shape.

Refrigerate the compound butter for at least an hour or until it is firm.
STEP 3:
Using a ThermoPro Lightning Instant-Read Thermometer to check, pan-sear your steak until the temperature reads around 130°F, then let it rest for 10 minutes.oven. Once the onions are softened, pour in your beef stock and ketchup; lower temperature and continue to simmer on low for hours.
STEP 4:
Slice the compound butter into rounds and place a slice on top of a hot steak just before serving.
