HOW TO MAKE Classic Honey Garlic Chicken Wings – Super Bowl Series

  • Step 1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Step 2. To prep the chicken, combine the avocado oil, paprika, onion powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, cayenne and garlic in a bowl. Toss the chicken wings in the mixture until well coated.

  • Step 3. Arrange the wings on a sheet pan with a rack over it. Use foil underneath for easy cleaning. Roast the wings for 15-20 minutes.

  • Step 4. When you take the wings out, they should read around 155-160 with your thermopro meat thermometer.

  • Step 5. To make the honey garlic sauce, combine the avocado oil, coconut aminos or soy sauce, honey, rice wine vinegar and red pepper flakes (if you’re using) in a bowl.

  • Step 6. Once the wings come out of the oven, quickly toss them in this mixture until well coated.

  • Step 7. Arrange the wings back on the rack and increase the oven temperature to 450 degrees.

  • Step 8. Once the oven has reached the proper temperature, place the rack with the wings back in the oven for 5-10 minutes, or until golden.

  • Step 9. Use your Thermopro thermometer to ensure the wings have an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Step 10. Top with chopped chives and more red pepper flakes if you like and enjoy!
