Deep-Fried Turkey Wings
INGREDIENTS
- 4 whole turkey wings
- 1 oz creole butter
- For seasoning:
- 2 tbsp creole seasoning
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp black pepper
HOW TO MAKE Deep-Fried Turkey Wings
STEP 1:
Wash the turkey wings and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut in half and remove the tips.
STEP 2:
Inject the creole butter into each wing section.
STEP 3:
Place turkey wings in Ziploc bag(s) and marinate in the refrigerator overnight, or for at least 4 hours.
STEP 4:
Remove turkey wings from the refrigerator and season both sides with creole seasoning, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper
STEP 5:
With the help of a ThermoPro TP511, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (177°C) in a large pot or large skillet.
STEP 6:
Deep fry turkey wings for 14 minutes, or 7 minutes on each side. Use a TP620 Instant-Read Thermometer to confirm the internal temperature has reached 165°F (74°C).
STEP 7:
Place on a paper-towel-lined plate to drain excess grease and enjoy!
