Meatzarella Sticks
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ tbsp salt
- ¾ tbsp pepper
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- ¾ tbsp paprika
- ½ tbsp chili flakes
- ½ tbsp dried parsley
- ½ tbsp onion powder
- For the breading:
- Flour
- Eggs
- Bread crumbs/panko
HOW TO MAKE Meatzarella Sticks
STEP 1:
Add the ground beef and the spices to a bowl. Add an egg and mix well.
STEP 2:
Slap it around a stick of mozzarella. And to ensure no cheese comes out, roll it in flour, egg, and then bread crumbs.
STEP 3:
Using a TP511 to check, make sure your oil is heated to 350°F (177°C) before you drop in your log. It takes about 8 minutes to cook. To make sure they are cooked, check the temperature using a TP19 instant-read thermometer.
STEP 4:
Fry at 350°F (177°C) until internal temperature reads 165°F (74°C). Dry on a paper towel after removing from oil, then serve.
