I think this thing is pretty awesome to be honest. Only downside I would say it takes a while for the device to adjust if you move it from indoor to outdoor and vice versa, at least a couple of hours. Good for the price however
at this price point….u get a nice size screen, which is very colorful and runs 24/7 when plugged in…. large digits, easy to read…both sensors agree with each other, nice to see that…I have the remote sensor 80ft from the base, no issues with communications…Directions were impressive for import….very cool baro readings, instructions explain it well…amazing value, works as advertised… cant find any flaws here…. so…5 starsUPDATEI had to temper my rating to 4 stars, like others, my outdoor reading keeps going blank, and both remain stationary and are relatively close. Otherwise, this would be a 5 star product…
my rechargeable batteries last a day, alkalines are much better. I like it, but think it should’ve had a power supply for the main unit, or be rechargeable like the remote sensor
I have a young son who is OBSESSED with the weather. Getting his own little weather station for Christmas was AWESOME. He loves being able to track conditions indoors and out, and he loves sharing information with anyone who might be within hearing range. I wish it synced up to Accuweather or something to provide more forecasting functions, but as an observation tool, it’s a hit.
