As a timer to let you know when to do something, I suppose it has some value in that it will let youknow when “x” number of minutes has expired. However, it has little use in the kitchen becausethere is almost no discernible sound to let you know when that time has arrived; you have to be actively engaged in the wait. Even the lightest conversation in the work area will completely overshadow the weak signal that “x” number of minutes has expired. The timer is accurate but it is a poor choice for use if you have more to do than watch the countdown on the screen.
I like the design and i like that they are white. i don’t like stainless steel or black. i had a problem with these timers. ThermaPro took care of it immediately, no questions asked, no excuses made by ThermaPro. i wish more businesses treated customers with respect and stood behind their products like ThermaPro.
