HOW TO MAKE Incredible Ribeye Tomahawk Steaks
Step 1. Pat your steaks dry and sprinkle them with salt and pepper. Let them rest for about 30 minutes while you preheat your grill.
Step 2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If you have a very large or thick steak, you should heat one side of the grill to medium-high heat and the other side of the grill to low.
Step 3. Set your Thermopro thermometer to 5-10 degrees below your desired internal temperature.
Step 4. Place the probes through the sides of the thickest part of the steak so that the tip of the probe is in the center of the steak.
Step 5. Place the steaks on the grill and allow them to grill for 90 seconds or so, then turn the steak 90 degrees. Repeat on the other side.
Step 6. Depending on how thick the steak is and the internal temperature of the steak/your desired final temperature, after this point you can transfer the steak to the cooler side of the grill to finish cooking.
Step 7. Cover the grill and grill until the desired temperature is released.
Step 8. Remove the steak from the grill and tent it with foil and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. Slice it against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.
