I did have a faulty device that caused me months of frustrations. I hadn't realized at first that it was a bad probe with battery problems that caused the issue. Once I realized it was a bad unit I contacted the manufacturer. They immediately answered the call. The representative then listened to my description of the issue without interrupting. He then told me I will be receiving a whole new unit. Five stars for customer service. Also, the device works great when it is working. I had to ask for refund from other brands. I will stick with this brand.

Very accurate and allows me to focus on other things as the alarms and settings will definitely let you know when the bbq needs attention.

I used other companies instant read thermometers and they would be hit or miss. Have been looking at this for a while, it dropped down to the lowest price I had seen and decided to try it out.First time using it put it in a top round London Broil, set the temp and away we go. Alarm goes off at desired wellness. Took it off the grill and let it sit for 5 minutes. Cut into it and it was perfectly medium rare.

Easy to connect to the via the app or easy to read display on the case.

This is a very high quality device for measuring food temperature remotely. I followed the instructions and was pleased with the results. I was able to miniature the internal temperature of the ham that I was cooking while also monitoring the ambient temperature in the oven. I have not yet tried the app on my phone, but can say the unit works perfectly.

I love telling what 2 different pieces of meat temperatures are in the smoker.
